Pokemon masters trying to login this morning found themselves on the outside looking in. Many people trying to play the game have found Pokemon Go servers down and they are unable to play. Pokemon Go servers have been a known issue for quite some time. Pokemon Go players have been dealing with connection issues since the mobile game launched.
With Pokemon Go servers down, players saw an error message when trying to play. Instead of connecting to their Pokemon Go account, players saw an message stating;
“We are working to resolve the issue. Please try again soon!”
Most players who can’t play Pokemon Go, hailed from the UK and some parts of the United States. It’s caused Pokemon Go players back to reality in some degree, and as one may expect many people aren’t taking it so well.
The Pokemon Go server crash has left millions of gamers worldwide high and dry. Niantic Labs has been updating players as they scramble to work on their hardware.
“Due to the incredible number of Pokémon GO downloads, some Trainers are experiencing server connectivity issues. Don’t worry, our team is on it!”
There were many hilarious responses to the corporate tweet. One devastated Pokemon Go player tweeted:
“I could definitely leave the house but what’s the point if Pokemon go servers are down?”
Reactions from Pokemon Go players has varied from outraged to hilarious. However given what’s at stake, we don’t expect the Pokemon Go servers down state to continue. In fact according to The Guardian this afternoon, the server outage has been addressed. Pokemon players can once again hunt and try to catch them all, and natural order to the universe is restored.
